Peter Cordova

Peter is moving from production designing into directing, "I have been designing other directors stories since 2008. I feel that now is the time for me to make a change and direct these stories." My movie DEAL will be my first feature film currently seeking funding. Peter Cordova, was born in New Jersey and started his career in 1980 working at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City where he worked in the prop department, construction custom props and intricate set pieces . He began prop mastering shows at the Met and other theater shows in the city and in 1997 moved to Florida going into art direction for music videos and TV commercials. Peter worked with some of the top music video directors such as Joseph Kahn, Wayne Isham, Little X and Gill Green. He then started production designing for the TV commercial world and Prop Mastering for movies that came into Florida, working w directly with directors Michael Bay, Oliver Stone, Michael Mann. He enjoyed the pace of the film set and decided to begin production designing feature films. In 2008 Peter was offered to design his first feature "Stiletto" which was written, directed and produced by two time Academy Award winner Nick Vallelonga. From being on the side of the camera in the art department Peter has gained the knowledge of budgeting and crews that brings value to any project.
