- Appeared as the title role in The Ghoul (1975) with Peter Cushing, two years later they both appeared as imperial officers in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
- Best remembered as Sgt Bulman.
- As an amateur actor he auditioned as a dare for the RSC and was accepted and stayed for 6 years.
- Made several series of Strangers 79 - 82.
- When playing George Bulman in The XYY Man (1976), Strangers (1978) and Bulman (1985), he often wore gloves. This was because Bulman was unmarried, but Don Henderson was not able to remove his wedding ring so he needed a way of covering it up.
