Born in Detroit, Michigan, Chris Gardner spent most of his childhood in inner-city public schools until he received a scholarship to attend Cranbrook-Kingswood; a private boarding school in the suburbs of Detroit. It was there that he discovered his love for acting. He graduated and went on to study at the New York University, Tisch School of the Arts in Manhattan. While in New York, he began working in commercials. He also landed his first television role on the critically acclaimed HBO series "Oz" in which he played a young Muslim named Ahmad Lalar. One fateful day, he moved west to Los Angeles. Within a few months he landed the role of Darren the Dell Intern in a commercial campaign for Dell computers. Since then, he's done over 100 commercials. He has also racked up notable roles on "Hart Of Dixie", "Pretty Little Liars", and "NCIS" to name a few. His work as a voice-over artist spans radio, television, movies, video games, and podcasts. In the world of video games, he's appeared in over 20 titles including, "Batman: Arkham Asylum / Arkham City"(2011), "World Of Warcraft"(2012), "Call Of Duty: Mobile"(2019), "Asgards Wrath"(2022), and "Saints Row"(2022). You can also catch him on the murder-mystery podcasts, "Solve"(2021,Ep. Amnesia), and "The College Tapes"(2020), available on Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, and Spotify.
