Nick Frost is Simon Pegg's best friend and they used to be flatmates.

Wasn't an actor prior to playing "Mike Watt" in Spaced (1999) - he was working as a waiter.

Worked in a Mexican restaurant for six years. As a bartender, waiter and cook.

Says that best friend and frequent co-star Simon Pegg introduced him to Woody Allen films and made him a more mature, cultured person all around.

His favorite films include Dead Man's Shoes (2004), Bottle Rocket (1996), The Shining (1980), Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and (all-time favorite) Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977).

Lived in Israel for 14 months at the age of 18, volunteering at a kibbutz (though he is not Jewish).

After shooting for Shaun of the Dead, Nick was sent a birthday cake, he and friends Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg videotaped Frost flushing the cake down the toilet and put it on Youtube.com.

A longtime supporter of West Ham United FC.
