Banjoist (The Dillards), composer and musician often seen on television
and heard on records. Educated in college, and a member of ASCAP since
1963, he composed the popular songs "Doug's Tune" and "Hickory Holler".
His chief musical collaborators have included Dean Webb, Mitchell
Jayne, and Rodney Dillard.
