His best known television roles are Tucker on Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990) and voicing Carlos Ramon on The Magic School Bus (1994).

To prepare for his role in The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009), he worked with vocal coaches to learn to speak Sicilian. As well as working with a trainer and nutritionist.
