- Replaced Bob Crane as morning DJ on CBS-owned KNX-AM in Los Angeles when Crane left the radio station in the second season of Hogan's Heroes (1965) in order to concentrate all his energies on playing USAAF POW Colonel Hogan in the popular situation comedy "Hogan's Heroes" . "Cordic and Co."--as his show was first known in Pittsburgh, PA--was also the name Cordic used for it in Los Angeles. He left the station when KNX changed its format from music to all-news, and concentrated on his own acting career.
