Saradindu Bandopadhyay was born on 30 March 1899 in Jaunpur, North Western Provinces of Agra and Oudh, British India. Saradindu was a writer, known for Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015), Jhinder Bandi (1961) and The Zoo (1967). Saradindu died on 22 September 1970 in Poona, Maharashtra, India.
