Danny Arroyo is an actor, writer, producer, military veteran, and proud geek with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production and Script Writing. With over 90 film, TV, and commercial credits, he has earned four "Best Actor" awards at various film festivals. A passionate creative and disciplined meditator for 10+ years, Arroyo also enjoys reading novels and comic books, fitness training 5-6 days a week, writing screenplays and journals, playing fantasy football, video gaming, and watching classic Hollywood films on the big screen.
Arroyo plays the lead role in several feature films including the action thriller Day Labor (2024), the romantic comedy Switched at Love (2021), the suspense cop drama Nobody's Angel (2022), and the true story drama The Last Smile (2016), all available on Amazon Prime, AppleTV, and Tubi. He also has lead roles in Apocalypse Love (2024), The Charisma Killers (2024), Adolescents of Chymera (2021), Body of Sin (2018), and the modern-day western The Stolen Valley (2022). Arroyo guest starred on Wild West Chronicles (2020) (2024) playing the true life legendary California bandit, Tiburcio Vasquez. He is a series regular on the Amazon Prime series Sangre Negra... Black Blood (2021), a performance that earned him the "Best Actor" award at the Vive Latino America Awards Show, and a series regular in comedy series Business People (2025).
He wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the comedy short film Bite! (2018) (2018) on Amazon Prime, winner of 10 film festival awards (4 "Best Comedy" awards, 2 "Best Actor" and 1 "Best Director"). It is based on a true story of when his home was invaded by bed bugs.
A dedicated advocate for Latino representation in the entertainment industry, Arroyo produced, wrote, and hosted Hola: The Phenomenal Growth of Latino TV-a live event for the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences (Emmys) featuring a panel of Presidents and CEOs from major Latino networks. He also served two years on the PGEC and Diversity Committees.
Arroyo has three screenplays in development: the suspense mini-series Socio, the action video game dramedy thriller Gamers, and the romantic comedy LONELY SATURDAY NIGHT SYNDROME.
