- Eva Tinschmann retired from the film business after the war and settled down in Rosshaupten in Allgäu.
- The actress Eva Tinschmann began her acting career after an education as singer and actress at the Nelson Theater in Berlin in 1922. In the next years she appeared on many German stages where she was very successful in comedies.
- She made her film debut in 1932 with "Baby" (1932) and from 1936 she became a much demanded support actress in many well-known film productions. She often impersonated down-to-earth roles like cooks, housekeepers, landladies and nurses.
