Burning Witches Records has a new Halloween mixtape cooking in the cauldron for a good cause, and we have details on the fundraising cassette and digital release for the World Wildlife Foundation in today's Horror Highlights, as well as home media release details for Ghost Witch and Kill or Be Killed.

Halloween Cassette Fundraiser for World Wildlife Federation: On Cassette Store Day, October 14th, Burning Witches Records will release Witches' Halloween Brew, a 19-song collection on cassette and digital featuring a wide range of synth-centric composers. Sequenced by Mondo/Death Waltz's Spencer Hickman and featuring artwork by Kimberley Holladay, profits from the collection will go to the World Wildlife Foundation. In addition to the digital release on Burning Witches' Bandcamp page, the album will be released on three cassette variants (see below) limited to 75 apiece. A TV series from the UK, Dates ran for one season of nine episodes in 2013. While it seems unlikely that there will be a second season, The CW resurrected another UK series, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and put it back into production several years after it was cancelled overseas. Will the ratings be good enough for the network to want a second season? Stay tuned.

Set in London, Dates revolves around the first dates between two people who have met via an online dating service. Each episode revolves around a different couple. The cast includes Will Mellor, Oona Chaplin, Neil Maskell, Sheridan Smith, Ben Chaplin, Andrew Scott, Greg McHugh, Katie McGrath, Gemma Chan, Montanna Thompson, and Sian Breckin.

Tom Cullen has joined ITV drama The Trials of Jimmy Rose, as filming begins on the series.

The Downton Abbey star will play Jason Rose, the son of Jimmy (Ray Winstone) and Jackie (Amanda Redman).

Charlotte Randle has also signed up to play Julie, Jason's sister.

Meanwhile, Montanna Thompson will play Jimmy and Jackie's granddaughter Ellie and The Fall actor John Lynch will feature as Steve McIntyre.

The Trials of Jimmy Rose follows notorious armed robber Jimmy Rose, who is released from prison only to find that his family have moved on with their lives.

Written by Strike Back's Alan Whiting and directed by Adrian Shergold, the three-part drama is currently shooting in Manchester.

Channel 4 has announced an all-star cast for new drama Dates.

The 9-part series - first announced in September - is from Skins creator Bryan Elsley and will focus on the complexities of modern relationships, with each episode focusing on a different date.
