(December 14, 1997 - August 30, 1998) He was Anthony LaPaglia's understudy in the Tony-winning revival of "A View from the Bridge" on Broadway, performing the lead role over a dozen times.

(1990 - 2000) As a principal actor in more than 30 commercials, John worked with directors Michael Lindsay-Hogg, Penny Marshall, and Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, among many others.

(2012 - 2015) John has performed in all three seasons of Larry Fessenden and Glenn McQuaid's radio drama "Tales from Beyond the Pale" along with fellow Glass Eye Pix performers James Le Gros, Vincent D'Onofrio and Sean Young.

(October 2016) Performed at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater in a live double bill of the horror radio anthology "Tales from Beyond the Pale". Cast members for the two pieces- "Who Killed Johnny Bernard?" by Larry Fessenden and "Game Night" by Glenn McQuaid- include James Le Gros, Larry Fessenden and Lauren Ashley Carter.
