He continued, “I love his edge that he has, play calling. And he’s got a tenacity to him that I love, and that’s what you want in a playcaller. And I just love how he teaches. I think that’s the thing about being a great coach.

Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen will be serving up two additional seasons, with Fox renewing the popular culinary competition series for seasons 23 and 24. The series debuted back in 2005, and the most recent season earned the top fall 2023 spot among cooking shows. Season 22’s first episode also set a new record for the series’ most streamed premiere.
“As my very first show on Fox, Hell’s Kitchen holds a very special place in my heart and it’s incredibly gratifying to have it renewed for its 23rd and 24th seasons,” said Ramsay. “This show just keeps getting better and better, and with Fox, ITV, and A. The Zombieland soundtrack features an eclectic mix of easygoing American recording artists, such as Willie Nelson as well as more hard rock-heavy tracks by the likes of Metallica and Van Halen. Revolving around a ragtag bunch of survivors in a zombie apocalypse, the 2009 comedy has acquired a cult status, eventually spawning a sequel a decade later. The diversity within the movie's soundtrack can best be explained from the vastly different personalities among the main characters. So, while Woody Harrelson's Tallahassee is a short-tempered zombie killer, Jesse Eisenberg's Columbus is more cautious. Joining them are the fearless and strategic Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin).
Zombieland's adrenaline-fueled action is perfectly paired with the high-octane music in the soundtrack, with genres ranging from classic rock to metal to musical symphonies. While they can often help add to the pace and comedy of the scene, the music can also foreshadow events to come.

John Boorman’s critical and commercial smash may have leaned on grotesque stereotypes but it remains a fiercely thrilling piece of exploitation
Two sounds leap to mind at the mere mention of Deliverance. The first is the tuneful bluegrass plink of Arthur Smith’s Dueling Banjos, performed by the eponymous instrument and an acoustic guitar harmonizing with it. The second, much less pleasant sound is the high, pained yelp of Ned Beatty, squealing like a pig to appease the depraved stranger violating him. So crucial are both to the enduring power of John Boorman’s 1972 nightmare in the boonies that the first can’t help but evoke the second: five decades later, that banjo tune still sounds like a warning – an omen of danger ahead, especially the kind that lies off the beaten path, south of the Mason-Dixon.

While there'll always be a place for down-the-line observational stand-up, there are thankfully also some comics doing stranger stuff at the fringes.
From the mid-1990s on, Simon Munnery has intrigued and innovated. Ahead of his spot on Stewart Lee's The Alternative Comedy Experience, Digital Spy got on the phone with Simon to talk singing Kierkegaard, "fylm" and whether or not we'll ever get Attention Scum! on DVD.
Asked about The Alternative Comedy Experience, Munnery said: "It's a different selection of acts - it's acts you don't see on Michael McIntyre's Roadshow or Live at the Apollo.
"It's perhaps less mainstream acts, a bit more quirky, a bit more interesting."
Of almost half the comics on the show being women, he added: "There are a lot of very good women comics and quite a lot of them are on this.

There's an engaging daftness about Simon Sprackling's adaptation of Chris England's 2003 rugby World Cup final yarn
Maybe you need to be a rugby fan to enjoy this film fully, but there's a cheerful, good-natured daftness here that anyone can understand. It is directed by Simon Sprackling and scripted by Chris England – a variation on a theme England established in 1991 with the stage play he co-wrote with Arthur Smith, An Evening With Gary Lineker. But that Italia 90-themed football drama had an obvious pall of sadness. This is something different. A ragtag bunch of fans show up at their local rugby club at breakfast-time on 22 November 2003 to watch the nailbiting World Cup final between England and Australia on the clubhouse TV. Among those present is Jake (George MacKay), a talented young amateur player who is convinced he has a supernatural power to help Jonny Wilkinson's kicking. Whenever Wilkinson...
