Kamille Rudisill is a composer, songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist. She is the younger sister of Kelly Adams (formerly Kelly Rudisill) and together they make up the band Karmina. As a vocalist, Kamille is best known for her featured vocal performances on The Birth of a Nation, Pan, How I Met Your Mother, The Hive, as well as Dr. Seuss' The Lorax.
As a composer, Karmina's original compositions have appeared on major television shows including Reign, Pretty Little Liars, Shameless, Ravenswood, CSI:NY, Switched At Birth and How I Met Your Mother, among others. They have toured the US, UK, and Europe, and have opened for Sheryl Crow, Sara Bareilles, Carol King, Train and, most recently, John Legend and Stevie Wonder at the Los Angeles Nokia Theater.
Karmina is fresh from the studio with a new record that features the orchestral arranging and production of award-winning film composer John Powell (Solo: A Star Wars Story, How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity). The resulting "cinematic pop" evokes the heart-pounding emotion of big-screen storytelling, the howling passion of Florence Welch, and the quiet heartbreak of Lana del Rey. Their new album, Queens of Heart, pays homage to powerful women who have elevated humanity and the humble warriors that follow in their footsteps.
