- Baltimore-born Carolyn Mignini began singing at the tender age of three. Dreams of a life in the theatre were realized when she made her Broadway debut a month out of college in "Fiddler On the Roof," her off-Broadway debut in "The Fantasticks," and earned a Drama Desk nomination for "Tintypes," for which she performed on The Tony Awards and The Kennedy Center Honors.
A top-grossing commercial performer, she endeared herself to millions of young viewers as "Kathy" on Captain Kangaroo before appearing in dozens of sitcoms, dramas, and MOWs - most recently, HBO's The Deuce (2017), House of Cards (2013) and Veep (2012).
