- Has a Boston Terrier named "Desi" after Desi Arnaz and a French Bulldog named "Miss Mona" after the lead character from the Broadway show and Feature Film The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982) starring Dolly Parton as Miss Mona.

- Father, Dennis J. Larkin Sr., suffered a spinal cord injury on December 21, 1995. While working as a stagehand, Dennis Sr. fell off the stage into the orchestra pit and injured his spinal cord at C5. Dennis Sr. has been a vent-dependent quadriplegic (like Christopher Reeve) ever since.
- Father, Dennis J. Larkin Sr., is a past President of I.A.T.S.E. Local 1, the New York City Legit Stagehands Union.
- Attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Undergraduate Acting training program at Circle in the Square. After one semester, transferred to The Boston Conservatory to be trained in Voice and Dance as well as Acting where he earned his BFA.
- Began working on Broadway Shows at 15 years old as an Usher, Ticket Taker, Doorman and Stagehand.
