    Off-Broadway appearances included "In Circles," "Peace," "Joan" and "The Faggot." At the Arena Stage (Washington, DC), she was seen in "A Look at the Fifties." On Broadway, she had roles in the musicals "Minnie's Boys" and "Gorey Stories." Her cabaret career, which began in the 1970s, included engagements at the Duplex, the Ballroom, Eighty Eights and the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room. She wrote the book/lyrics for a one-woman show about living with Marfan, "Clinical Trials," with composer Joel Maisano, who wrote the music. She also lectured and conducted workshops for families affected by genetic disorders.
