Stefan Karalambov was a Bulgarian actor and theater director. He was born in Tutrakan, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Theater School of Constantine Sagaev, His teachers were Boyan Danovski and Geo Milev. With his second wife Vera Stefan Karalambov occurs on stage. She was from Ruse and trainee actress when he was already a star of the Ruse Drama Theater. The talented duo leads lyric-dramatic repertoire of all theater groups in the country where touring - Razgrad, Svishtov, Varna, Plovdiv, Bourgas. In Burgas Drama Theater, Stefan Karalambov was a director and was very involved. In 1951st the family was invited in Sofia. Stefan Karalambov became director of the Youth Theatre, and his wife - an actress. She remains in the shadow of his famous man and soon gave up the stage. After a year and a half Karalambov was appoint ed in the most prestigious theater - National and until his retirement in 1964 he was an actor there. He has made memorable roles - Hamlet in "Hamlet", in "Diary of Anne Frank", in "An Ideal Husband" by Oscar Wilde, in "Three Sisters" by Chekhov, in "Geratzite" by Elin Pelin. He was involved in the leadership of the Union of Bulgarian Actors. He died in June 13, 1968 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
