The girls, who end up getting lost in the mountain, meets the mysterious boy Tsubaki. But who is he really?

Three families live in a town through which a wide river courses. The first family is comprised of a wife and husband who lost their child in an accident. The mother is fishing to get her son back. Ami does not think he is a bad man like her mother suspects. She gradually begins to open up to him through their conversations. Then one day, she hears about Kizaki's circumstances from the bakery owner, Ueno Hiroshi. In fact, Kizaki lost his family of eight in the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake five years ago and his emotional scars have still not been healed. This is the story of the aftermath and rebirth through the unlikely interaction between a middle-aged man and a teenage girl.

A man's house burns down, killing him and leaving his wife in a coma. His friend, Katsuo, decides to take in the man's four children and take care of them in his tiny apartment. At first, the children are still traumatized by what has happened, but if anything can help them regain hope, it's Katsuo's caring and energetic spirit.
