Swargam - Where the family nests
A small feel good family movie that gives an opportunity to reflect upon our personal, family and social lives.
The story in nutshell is about two families in distinct social, financial backgrounds and how the interpersonal relationships and perspectives within the two different families varies forms the base for the storyline.
Rejis Antony & Dr. Lizy K Fernandez has jointly conceived & conveyed a good thought provoking idea into a beautiful movie for the family audience leaving a vital message. The movie evidently portrays on the importance of thinking from others point of view irrespective of forcing them what we feels right for them.
Rejis has brilliantly portrayed the bonding, unity and brotherhood among the people in the high range agricultural livelihood villages through intricate detailing and songs that could be well related.
Good performances by Aju Varghese,Johny Antony,Manju Pillai,Ananya,Sijoy Varghese,Sajin Cherukayil,Kudassanad Kanakam & Manohari Joy.
The efforts behind the camera by S .Saravanan & Don Max in pulling out a small beautiful movie is worth mentioning.
A good watchable family movie that embodies the true values and spirit to be upholded and cherished in family and interpersonal relationships.
Rating - 3.5/5.

"Swargam" is a heartfelt tribute to every overseas Malayali's cherished memories. This film beautifully captures the essence of our childhood-the warmth of the church, the soulful choir songs, and the lush greenery of our hometowns. Moments like the "kappa pattu" brought back vivid memories, reminding me of the festive celebrations we had at home.
It is truly a family movie that not only entertains but also delivers an inspiring message for both parents and children. I loved every bit of it and was thrilled to see it available on OTT; now, I can revisit those nostalgic feelings anytime I miss home. Many elements felt so familiar, as if the scenes were taken right out of my own memories.
Kudos to the entire team for delivering such a beautiful and moving film. I highly recommend everyone to watch "Swargam." It's more than just a movie; it's a journey back home.

This is a superbly made movie. Malayalam movie astonishes me with such wonderful fare almost every other movie at a minimum. That's crazy🤷😅
I am so happy to be able to follow these wonderful films and this one is q must watch. Ajju is just so so good in this effortlessly carrying the central role with ease. So good to see him in meaty roles without comedy. Johny Antony is restrained and does very well.
Everyone else adds nicely to this movie. It is true to its name and so so elegantly made. There are a few minor hiccups but then I am being too choosy.
Highly recommend this movie for a pleasant watch. Has great moments and some very intersting life lessons along the way.

Swargam is a heartwarming and insightful Malayalam film that truly stands out, thanks to its remarkable performances and meaningful storyline. One of the key highlights of the movie is the transformation of Munju Pilla, whose career is soaring with each new role she takes on. In this film, she delivers yet another powerful performance, bringing depth and emotion to her character, making it one of her most memorable roles.
Aju Varghese, who is often associated with comic roles, surprises the audience with his portrayal of a family man. His performance is refreshing and genuine, showcasing a new side of him that is both endearing and relatable. Annanya's support adds a nice balance to the story, complementing Aju's character perfectly.
However, the true star of the film is Johnny Anthony, who brings a great deal of energy to the screen. His charisma is infectious, and he masterfully weaves both humor and life lessons into the narrative. Johnny's character provides many laugh-out-loud moments, but also contributes to the deeper values embedded within the story.
Swargam isn't just about highlighting the struggles of modern-day families, particularly in maintaining a healthy parent-child relationship; it offers a solution. The film delves into the complexities of family dynamics and shows how love, understanding, and communication can bridge the gaps between generations.
This is a film that not only parents but children should watch together. Its message is one of unity, understanding, and the importance of nurturing familial bonds. Swargam is a must-watch, and its thoughtful approach to family relationships makes it a movie that will resonate with viewers long after the credits roll.
The movie Swargam flows beautifully, much like the Meenachil River, capturing the essence of its setting and emotions. Kudos to the director Rejis for such a seamless narrative. My kids were so engaged that they didn't want to leave their seats, eagerly wanting to see more. Additionally, the songs in the movie are simply beautiful and timeless, much like those from Classmates. They have a classic charm that will surely resonate for years to come.

I walked into "Swargam" with moderate expectations, but unfortunately, the movie failed to impress me. The film's bottom half is engaging and thought-provoking, but the weak storyline and poor character development in the first half make it a chore to sit through.
Conclusion
Overall, "Swargam" is a disappointing movie that fails to live up to its potential. The weak backstory and poor character development make it hard to connect with the characters, and the predictable plot twists are frustrating.
Improved the pacing of the movie, making it more engaging and suspenseful.
By addressing these issues, the filmmakers could have created a more engaging and thought-provoking movie that would have resonated with audiences.
