La Mort viendra

No pun intended - if you like crime movies with a twist - I reckon this could be for you. It is about underground and organized crime - the beginning may lead us to believe we get to see more of the police, but this will not be the case (is that another pun) ... also the "doll" and the business "she" represents is only a front ... an excuse for a story ... but also a technology making men obsolete ... literally. Well men and women I reckon alike - also domesticating them ... taking away risks.

Things that true "gangsters" may have issues with. The mystery is there - and it is well told. I had to endure (as everyone else) the German dubbed version - which as good as the dubbing business is in Germany .. still not as good as the real thing. Also voices (and delivery) vary ... so I imagine the original french audio will add some value to it all to say the least. Action scenes were shot well - and there is at least one very gruesome effect that some viewers who are too sensitive should be warned about ... overall a good crime movie.
