101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow

BBC One decided to have a quiz show where contestant get a thrilling exit. 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow was filmed in Argentina to get away from more restrictive health and safety laws in the UK just like Total Wipeout.

Contestants are asked questions but if they lose the round to their opponents, they face an elimination by means of either being kicked into a pool, taking a bungee jump, or a ride on the catapult chair, plunge down in a car amongst 101 possible departures.

Steve Jones added panache and humour but the show failed to fly. It was too slow, the quiz element dragged on and the exits soon lost their novelty. File under forgettable.
