supporting actors better than the leads

This movie has a nice storyline, but the acting is terrible and some of the writing choppy. I wish I would have spent time watching something else and skipped this one

Good storyline but...

The acting is really bad - painful to watch. A good story... too bad it was overshadowed by the pathetic acting...

Did no one tell these people that "smutty" is a word

I love Hallmark movies but this one was just trash - really trying too hard to make the lead actress seem hip and cosmopolitan. Here's a fun drinking game - take a shot every time the two leads say "avocado toast" - you'll be dead before the end of the movie. Also, the lead actress "makes up a word" for pretty and smug... it did not go well.

When the main character Katie arrives at her hometown, she's rolling a suitcase behind her while she's walking down a train platform as if she had just arrived by rail, but there is literally no one else around. The train station obviously isn't actually in use. Here's an example where a dozen or so extras leaving and/or boarding the train would've maintained the illusion that it was a real working train station.
