A big thumb down for this movie that is based on the true story due to governmental censorship.
Even though everything in the movie was told exactly as it really happened in actual life (except changing the name and places), the movie did not tell the complete story:
The most important reason why the drug dealer did what he had done (including selling drugs) and got away with it was because of corruption: the corrupted officials looked the other way after took his bribery money. Such acceptance of bribery was done in a clever way:
Not a single cent is embezzled by those corrupted officials, instead, the bribery money was used for public projects such as building schools and roads in the low-income community. These showcase projects accumulate the political assets of the officials and the authority could not arrest them for taking the money.
This part was willfully left out because if it were included, the governmental censorship would never allow it.
