Two years after her husband Alan died, environmental designer Susan won't admit she is lonely, but her business partner Peggy sets her up with Kevin, a financial adviser. The relationship is supposed to be professional but later develops into something more.
Susan's sister Justine gets money from a trust fund (so their parents were rich), but not too much at one time because her husband Jack, who is abusive, might spend it all.
Susan starts getting mysterious messages and phone calls after a female neighbor says Susan shouldn't close her blinds because she 'likes to watch'. And then the situation escalates into something truly frightening.
Nastassja Kinski did a good job except for the accent. If her character had been adopted, it would have been understandable. But her sister had no accent. I think Kinski was trying to talk like a 'regular American' but wasn't quite succeeding, which was distracting.
The standout performance came from Gordon Pinsent as a quirky yet dignified private detective Susan hired. I liked his classical music (which he pretended to conduct), his dial telephone, and his early 1970's Chevy.
I was impressed with the lobby Susan designed in a downtown skyscraper located in an unnamed city--it even had full-size trees! Perhaps it wasn't just done for the movie but it was a great job by someone.
The mystery was interesting, and although there was some violence, it wasn't too explicit. There were many possible leads in the case, but the final solution certainly wasn't one I expected. The ending turned out to be quite exciting.

After meeting the man of her dreams, Susan begins being stalked by someone who claims they are are ex-girlfriend out for blood.
A woman named Susan is left devastated when husband is killed on the way home for their anniversary. Fast forward two years later, and we see that she is still struggling with his death, spending most of her time working as the head of an event planning/designing business with her colleague and friend Peggy. She meets a man named Kevin who she's looking to hire as a financial consultant, and they have instant chemistry. Almost right away, they start a relationship which leads to a quick wedding in Vegas.
As soon as they begin their relationship, Susan starts getting messages and calls from a woman who seems to despise her. The person writes horrible words on the wall at her condo's parking spot and is spotted looking into her window from street level by Kevin. Things get worse when her condo is broken into and vandalized, followed by a violent attack. The obvious suspects are Susan's jealous sister who has always felt inferior to her sister, and Susan's best friend Peggy who seems to have a certain attachment to her. There is also a jealous ex named Leslie Seyward who Kevin claims threatened to kill anyone he ever got with in the future. All is revealed in a creepy finale.
Blind Terror is a pretty well done thriller that has a sophistication level a bit higher than your normal run of the mill made for TV movie. There are some good stalking scenes between the killer and Susan, including a tense moment in her condo's sauna when what seems to be a tenant is actually the murderer who comes at Susan with a knife. The acting was pretty good from all involved, especially from Susan's best friend Peggy played Victoria Snow who had a supporting role. Blind Terror had a very good killer reveal and twist which wrapped the whole thing up nicely.
I recommend seeing Blind Terror if you have the chance. It is a fun thriller with an ending and twist that I did not see coming. That, the acting, plus the pace of the movie makes it more than watchable.

Surprisingly...this is not bad at all. Yes, it's strictly a straight-to-video/made-for-tv-movie kind of thing, but it's paced well, coherent, reasonably suspenseful, and Nastassja looks great. I say 'reasonably suspenseful' because most people will figure out the mystery 3/4 of the way into the film.
In BLIND TERROR, poor Susan (Nastassja Kinski) loses her husband on their anniversary. She's also helping to support her idiot sister and her brutal, idiot brother-in-law.
Two years pass.
Susan finds love once more, and he's perfect in every conceivable way.
Uh oh!
Coincidentally, Susan finds herself being stalked by a maniac about the same time. Vandalism, assault, and murder soon follow.
This isn't a bad thriller, especially for a 21st century made-for-TV movie. Ms. Kinski is quite good in her harried role.
On a side note, it's humorous that the original DVD box said of this movie: "For mature audiences. Contains adult language, adult content, and violence." From this description, one might expect to be about to watch the uncut version of BASIC INSTINCT. Well, this film contains zero nudity, no gore, and language of the typical network television variety.
Luckily, the movie is decent anyway...

A pretty good "who's stalking her" movie. Nastassja Kinski is very good as usual. The other acting is solid as well; the husbands, the sister, the colleague, the private detective. The protagonist, Susan, is a successful designer who loses her beloved husband on a rainy night in a tragic accident. She has inherited money from her father, including a trust fund for her unreliable sister. She doles out the money to her in small increments over time. The sister resents this but is married to an abusive jerk who spends her money on bad investments in get quick rich schemes. Susan consults with a bright and charming investment adviser and begins dating him. They take a trip to Las Vegas and get married. Then a mysterious woman begins stalking her. Her husband suspects its may be an unstable former girlfriend. The stalking escalates to harassment and attacks. Decent mystery, but with one inexplicable flaw. I won't describe the flaw so as not to spoil the mystery. Would love to inquire with the screenwriter about it though. Suspense builds effectively and there are a few startling moments. Very tame in terms of language and gore. Very economical exposition of the plot and characters, almost no wasted moments. Some very visually interesting sets and effective editing.
