... even if you're not into zombies. There's a bit of overacting, but not excessively so. Indeed, it's rather meant to be. A few plot holes, but then again, with such a story, that's par for the course.
This is not meant to make sense. It's meant to entertain, and does so well. The obsessions over absurd points, such as striving to not look like a zombie, mocks the current men's beauty trends. The over-the-top annoying female lead pokes fun at the stereotypical female KDrama trope. One gets the feeling that everyone was in on the joke, and worked seamlessly to pull it off.
I get a distinct Park Hyung-sik vibe from Park Ju-hyun. She has the same expressions and ability to portray multi-layered characters. She also has the gift of physical comedy, though it's not as evident. Watch her in a few more shows, especially Mouse, and see if you catch that vibe, too.
