Song of the Dead (2004)

Very fun and sometimes hysterical film has terrorists striking the U.S. with a virus that turns people into zombies. Everyone gets the message except for one guy who's out camping when he gets bitten and sings a song about it as he's being transformed. I really, really enjoyed this short because it features some great gore and I haven't witnessed too many zombie musicals. The song being sung is pretty silly but that's the whole point. I also enjoyed the look of the two zombies and the gore effects were very nice. Apparently this short was successful enough that the director made it into a feature the following year so I'll certainly be looking for it.
