Anna Sinyakina revealed she was replaced by a body double in the rape scene. "At the time of filming, I was a minor and refused to undress categorically. The naked body parts in the film are not mine. I originally asked for a stunt double. And even here the point is not that I wasn't allowed to be naked. Having received parental consent, I was able to undress, but I was very shy. We thought a lot about how to replace me with a stunt double. I was lying on the bed and suddenly I grabbed the blanket and threw it over me so I couldn't be seen. The solution has been found. Another girl was hiding under a blanket," Sinyakina said.

Simple story superbly well told

Greetings from Lithania.

"The Rifleman of the Voroshilov Regiment" (1999) is a very simple movie, but a very good one at the same time. The story here is crystal clear, but it is the good script, great acting by Mikhail Ulyanov and crystal clear directing what makes this movie work. It is a very "local" story, but it could have been anywhere in a world, the story here is universal, far by any moons from anything original, but its a good movie making what is the most important, and "The Rifleman of the Voroshilov Regiment" has one.

Overall, "The Rifleman of the Voroshilov Regiment" is a simple yet very good movie. It is highly involving and crystal clear story. Very good movie all around.
