Bakshi staged a Mighty Heroes reunion when he revived Mighty Mouse in the 80's. Mighty Mouse needed help on a case, and he turns to Man, Man, Man, Man, & Man, CPA's for help. The accountants are the Mighty Heroes gone middle aged.
By the end of the episode, Diaper Man has graduated to Training-Pants Man.

hard to believe that this was one of Ralph Bakshi's earliest directorial efforts. i had almost forgotten about this series until i found it uploaded to Youtube earlier tonight. if there is a series which is just begging to be put onto DVD, it is this one. you can still buy it for now, but only on VHS. i'm hoping that one day the rest of the TerryToons back catalog (Mighty Mouse, Heckle and Jeckle. . . etc.) will find its way to become licensed. while I'm glad that a lot of shows are getting licensed, there's a lot more that has not. (Beanie and Cecil, and Hoppity Hooper are but part of a very long list here.) I'm now a big anime fan, but back in the day when i was watching this, i can only imagine how the Japanese felt when they saw this.since American animation was a big influence on the Japanese. i hope we can show these old shows some love and bring them back to be viewed, re- discovered and loved all over again.
I was looking at the listing for the animated Lord of the Rings, decided to click on Bakshi's name and saw that he was responsible for one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. I know I loved them but all I can remember clearly is Diaper Man. I had tried to look them up on the web once before but there wasn't much to be found. It's a shame because I remember really getting a kick out of these shows. I hope someone puts these out on DVD so I can see them again. Alot of nostalgic thirysomethings would love to have them, I'm sure.
Got to love these guys. They competed opposite the Super Six at 9AM Saturday mornings in 1966. Diaper Man the leader with his bottle as his main weapon and being the brains of this combo. Strong Man with his super strength and super punch.Tornado Man with his tornado super whirlwind sucking up everything. Rope Man with his rope body and lasso abilities. Cuckoo Man my favorite, who really was pretty useless and didn't have any powers other than barely being able to fly. The others flew too but much better. They all bumbled their way at the beginning of fights only to work it out eventually and save the day. I have their complete episodes. Great for collectors. Would love to see them and the Super Six team up or duke it out. The winners taking on the Impossibles who aired a half hour later.
If your a Gen X-er, you have to remember a group consisting of Diaperman, Strongman, Cuckoo Man, Ropeman and Tornado Man. They are "the Mighty Heroes" who messed things up during the beginning of the thirty-minute show but usually come together in some unusual ways to defeat their foes.
Created by Ralph Bakshi who later did "Spiderman" (Your Friendly Neighborhood...), "Fritz the Cat" and "Wizard". I didn't even know that he create this fantastic show from the sixties. Mr. Bakshi is a genius for that time period and has done other fantastic works besides the above mentioned shows. Hopefully one day soon they will put all the Mighty Heroes 20 episodes and other well-known shows such as "Space Ghost" and "the Herculoids" (to name a few) on dvd (so what are you guys who made these shows waiting on?).

- ट्रिवियाAt the time this series was developed, Ralph Bakshi had an infant son who got mad whenever Daddy had to go to work. He would throw his bottle at Bakshi as he was heading for the door. This is what gave Bakshi the inspiration for "Diaper Man, the hero who fights villains with his mighty bottle".
