In 2014, she starred as a ballerina in a scene in a commercial for the Russian beer "Sibirskaya Korona" ("Siberian Crown") with David Duchovny. David plays a ballet instructor and Mariya plays one of his students. At the time of filming, she had not danced for over seven years and was very out of practice. Many said this made her acting as a student more realistic.
