On introducing Mia Farrow to Woody Allen: The night before, I had gone with Michael Caine and wife, Shakira, and Pat Kennedy Lawford to see Mia in a play, 'Romantic Comedy,' and afterward we rode up to Elaine's. On the way, Mia asked, 'Doesn't Woody Allen hang out there? Do you think he'll be there tonight? And I said, 'He's here almost every Friday night.' Well, he wasn't there--but the next night, the Caines had a party at Elaine's. There was Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall and Ahmet Ertegun among others. And Woody was at the next table. So I went over and said Mia was interested in meeting him, and I brought him over to our table.
