Pekamedalu- a true-to-life film depicting the middle-class mindset with honest storytelling and performances. Although it may not have the sparkle of mainstream movie, its depth of emotion and sincerity speak for it.

Vinod Kishan and Anusha Krishna hold up this movie by playing their roles so well which captures struggles, aspirations, sorrows etc., middle class people face in life. Other characters play supporting roles without much prominence. Technically speaking Haricharan has done justice to Pekamedalu; its cinematography enhances authenticity of narration while art direction as well as Smaran Sai's background score smoothly supports everything thus maintaining narrative integrity within. This once again exhibits producer Rakesh Varre commitment towards such stories whereas director Nilgiri Mamilla shows great faith in this script.

Raw and realistic scenario happened in the middle class families, especially the male who seeks shortcuts to grow in life spoils his life along with his peripherals too. A man with no responsibility towards his own life & especially his family will always destroys the present and future of his family members. Astonishing point in the movie is the director not only pointed the problem through the main lead, he also shows the realistic inspirational way forward in the end. One of the amazing movie watched in recent times 👌👌. Very impressive & well done work by the director. I wish the director to make great films and flourish as a great movie maker👍🏼

I started watching with no expectations and got hooked almost instantly. Great story, Super direction, writing and screenplay. Realistic and brilliant performances by lead actors. Even the supporting cast though not very well known have played their parts very well.

Story is simple and focuses on well educated, lazy lower middle class man who never changes and keeps cheating everyone around him and his conflict with a hard working wife with simple aspirations to shift to better home/locality, send her son to better school. Screenplay flows very smoothly and towards the end when you feel director is giving a very typical cinematic ending, he blows your mind with a great climax.

Movies like these need to be encouraged and I really wish I watched this movie in the theater. More power to such team/actors/storytellers and hope they find all the encouragement to bring more such simple stories to life and entertain us.
