I do not understand why they decided to do this adaptation in this way. In the past there were some great Serbian TV shows (Kamiondzije, Vruc Vetar or Vratice se rode or even Bolji zivot etc.) but the dialogue, the humor and the characters were relatable in those TV shows, and that is why they were a success. This is, unfortunately, a disaster in my opinion. The sad fact is that I loved Everybody Loves Raymond. But Ray Romano is extremely talented and Everybody Loves Raymond was an original script, the cast was excellent and free to improvise, which is why they were able to carry the show for so many years. This is just inferior, substandard, inadequate.

Positive vibes, the series has been nicely adapted from its US counterpart. The production managed to adapt the most of the jokes and plot twists into Serbian context.

Characters are likable and funny.

The main cast, featuring Serbian celebrity actors does a very good job.

Stage and overall production is right on point for the genre, certainly above average among Serbian sitcoms.

The episodes could be shorter. It is apparent that the production joined two episodes into one 40-minutes episode, in order to fill RTS 20:00 prime time slot.

Some direct translation from English into Serbian can be annoying at times...

Nothing against crime/thriller series, but Serbian TV needed a modern sitcom.

The main characters are well trained theater actors, and I felt that they make own quotes and that's make it funny. This is story that suits Balkan family, and many can be related to it.

It's a Balkan remake to "Everybody loves Raymond" and must say there are two characters who actually performing better as in the original, and that's the Rale's brother and his father. They are pretty unique characters and better portrayed in this play. But unfortunately the mother is kind too loud for my taste, maybe as should be. The episodes last too long but the main role Rale is one of the best when comes to comic.

Very unsuccessful adaptation of Everybody loves Raymond. Annoying laugh so unusual for Serbian TV shows, especially when the scenes are not funny at all. The worst of all is acting of the two main characters, "Ray" and "Debra". So many overacting, annoying arm gestures, inappropriate and dull replicas with strange facial expressions. Inappropriate choice of other main characters (Stojan is nowhere close to Rob, and especially their relation). It seems that Masa Dakic cannot say a single word without moving her both arms in circular motions. It is so strange to see that some young naturists who appeared recently on Serbian TV (Voyage) look on screen like Oscar awardees compared to Andrija and Masa. Maybe, only Brstina who is acting Frank achieved to be decent in that role and brings some smiles. Overall, the most annoying TV show that appeared on Serbian TV for a while.

This series reflect Serbian sense of humor as much as letting rats in children bed reflect the animal care.... For decades now comedies from Serbia were best known as guaranted fun and laugh until tears run down to your cheeks.

Ok, this is a remake so it needs to be adapted to local sense for humor.... Yes? Well no! There is no H from Humor at all. It's just a bad caricature. What is completely sad is that cast is very good. It proves that you can not compensate bad script with good actors and vice versa.

I don't think it would be possible to insult local comedy lovers with such bad product in the next 50 years even if you stop making the good ones this very moment.
