Avis à la une
I would give the movie "Nabil El Gamil Dr. Tagmeel" a 5/10 rating. The movie revolves around Dr. Nabil, a cosmetic surgeon played by Mohamed Henedy, who owns a cosmetic clinic. Throughout the movie, he encounters various situations and comedic incidents with the Lebanese actress Nour. While the movie had its funny moments, I felt that it lacked depth in terms of the storyline and character development. The comedic elements were entertaining, but I was expecting more from the plot. Overall, it's an okay movie to watch if you're in the mood for light-hearted comedy, but don't expect anything too profound or thought-provoking.
An Egyptian comedy movie that lacks any comedic elements whatsoever. The film consists of unfunny comedy sketches centered around (un)comic situations involving the cosmetic surgeries performed by Dr. Nabil in his clinic. The major disaster is that the aging actor Mohammed Henedy insists on playing the role of a young man about to embark on life, oblivious to the fact that this is illogical for viewers, considering his age. This is seen as an insult to the audience's intelligence, not to mention the poorly developed characters and unfunny, inadequate dialogues that are unsuitable for a comedy film. This film marks the unfortunate end in Mohammed Henedy's career.
Note: After watching this movie, you'll be tempted to visit a cosmetic clinic to fix the disfigurement caused by the film on you.

Nabil El Gamil Dr. Tagmeel is a light-hearted Egyptian comedy that blends slapstick humor with a satirical take on the world of cosmetic surgery. Starring Mohamed Henedi, the film offers an amusing, if somewhat predictable, ride. Here's why I'd rate it a 6 out of 10:
The Positives: Mohamed Henedi's Charm: As always, Henedi shines in his role as Dr. Nabil, infusing the character with his signature comedic timing and quirky expressions. His interactions with patients and staff at the beauty clinic are some of the film's highlights, providing plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
Supporting Cast: Nour plays a strong foil to Henedi's antics, balancing the humor with a touch of sophistication. Mohamed Sallam and Haggag Abdulazim add their own flair, delivering comedic relief that feels organic and well-timed.
Relatable Humor: The film cleverly pokes fun at society's obsession with beauty standards and the lengths people go to in order to achieve perfection. While exaggerated for comedic effect, the jokes resonate and spark moments of reflection.
The Drawbacks: Thin Plot: The storyline, while serviceable for a comedy, feels a bit underdeveloped. The narrative focuses more on the jokes than on building a cohesive or engaging plot, which might leave viewers wanting more depth.
Timed comedy: Like many of Heneidy's movies, they are kinda a one time watch movie.
Repetitive Gags: Some of the humor, particularly the slapstick elements, can feel overdone. After a while, the jokes start to lose their impact, making certain scenes drag.
Pacing Issues: The film struggles with maintaining a steady rhythm, especially in the second half. There are moments where the story feels stretched, and the resolution feels rushed.
Final Thoughts: Nabil El Gamil Dr. Tagmeel is an enjoyable watch if you're in the mood for light comedy and don't mind a film that prioritizes laughs over substance. While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, it succeeds in delivering moments of genuine humor, thanks largely to its talented cast. A solid choice for a casual movie night, but not one that leaves a lasting impression.

I was expecting a light-hearted, cheesy comedy. However this movie made me feel very unconvertible watching it. It follows an unsympathetic plastic surgeon who is supposed to be the protagonist off the movie. The movies tries to be comedic by showing how this surgeon performs surgeries in an unprofessional way and as a result end up deforming multiple female patients. The "joke" being that these women have become very ugly, are in a lot of pain and have their lives ruined. This is a tasteless form of humor. I don't see how any one can find this funny, this movie feels a body horror rather than a comedy.
