In 2015, Gil Darnell played the anti-Nazi Major Fleischer in "Soldiers of the Damned." In 2016, he played Commandant Nauhaus, the head of a group Nazi necromancers who was briefly possessed by Hitler's soul in the TV show Supernatural's episode, "The One You've Been Waiting For."

Gaffes
Chronologically misplaced map in the opening sequence showing European countries that were not in existence until the 1990's; namely Czech Republic and Slovakia. Also, Belarus and Serbia would not be marked territories on a map in use in 1944 and Russia was still part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).

Basically reenactment

Watching this movie is like being forced to watch the amateur project your friends who are into reenactment made during a weekend in the wild: you're mildly curious but mostly very bored and slightly suspicious of the guy who plays the SS, why is his character going for the madman route?
