This is such a hilarious and delightful short film. I watched it three times at three different film festivals and enjoyed it every time. I specifically point this out because sometimes a short film can be boring the second time or the third time around.
The lead actress playing the title role of Dyke Dollar is excellent. Her whimsical portrayal of the Dyke Dollar character was extremely animated and believable. Her performance makes the educational bits of the film enjoyable instead of dull.
I highly recommend this film to everyone who is even remotely interested in learning some history about gay and lesbian culture.
