This short film was made in Germany, though they chose to have the actors speak English throughout. Perhaps there is also a German language version as well. In addition, on IMDb there is a very short film, a "making of" film that immediately follows THE SECRET ADVENTURES OF A PROJECTIONIST.
The film has very little conventional plot. Instead, a strange and obsessed projectionist imagines he's the hero to his screen heroine. Again and again, you see this guy in scenes where he is coming to this lady's rescue or running away with her or being betrayed by her. Some of these scenes are very well made--particularly the on inspired by the robot creation scene in METROPOLIS (complete with a bit of nudity--which is still probably acceptable for most younger audiences). For a low-budget production they make the most of their limited resources.
