Hyaku iro megane

Is magical, despite of being a short film. It's set in a beautiful place in Japan, recreating the 40's/50's: Women in kimono, Black and White and muted movies, old telephones and cameras, old houses. It's hard to explain it with words: is a movie about dreams, a mystery woman, and spying through a hole in the wall. Only the ones who had seen it can understand it, it's not an easy movie. Characters are complex, and mysterious. The movie is based always in the same places and the same dream. Here, the same woman, who's unknown until the end, talking to a man slept, who's having the dream. The music at this movie is beautiful, the thing that make it enjoyable and Japanese. Without the music this film is empty. All the song are composed and programmed by the magnificent Ringo Shiina. The movie is based on the song STEM~Daimyou Asobi Hen, but also includes songs from her masterpiece "Karuki Saamen Kuri no Hana". She also gets the most mysterious character: The Woman in red kimono. I recommend it if you want it understand it. It's beautiful.
