Patrick Collins has cranked out over a 1000 videos over the years, all gonzo porn, but scored an overrated Feature hit in 1997 with "Miscreants". "Big Bottom Sadie" (no, she doesn't classify for the keyword big-butt) is a hyped successor sold as the label's "biggest feature" but is merely over a dozen gonzo sex scenes haphazardly strung together with a paper-thin story premise. Many of them are just thrown in as XXX padding.
Sadie is hardly even a character, merely a blonde roommate to superstar Jenna Haze. Jenna is constantly masturbating, usually with her trusty vibrator, the footage interspersed between endless sexual flashbacks.
She's being treated by quack Herschel Savage with his trusty assistant Katie Morgan, and scenes revolve around a group therapy session Jenna attends. Her voice-over narration is the entire story, a lame excuse for showing us the participants' sex stories.
Producer/director/co-writer Collins has zero ability at storytelling, as nothing happens other than current and past sex on the level of stag loops. Jenna was the supreme starlet of her era but becomes tiresome here, so badly directed and repetitive are her scenes.
Catalogue of kink and sex is tossed in, including redundant scenes of sex in a public bathroom including glory hole action; BDSM lite supervised by Ernest Greene, with flogging, nipple clamps, suspension, etc.; a tease of choking as well as auto asphyxiation; gang-bangs; and even corny stuff like sex-on-a-pooltable. Ultimately the big scene is Jenna having sex with Sadie (latter played unimpressively by Olivia Saint).
