Dentist In Love..Kind Of

This is the story of Michiyuki Nagashima, played ably by Ishida Junichi, who is a dentist that through his practice attracts many women, all of whom want to marry him. He vows that he'll only marry the woman who helps him sleep, as he is a chronic insomniac. This is a lighthearted film, a bit on the silly side, since you can hardly feel sorry for the guy. He doesn't abuse the women in his life, more misleads them. You get to follow him at his gigs, where he is a good jazz alto saxophonist, his job and his little liaisons in Tokyo. Its a watchable film, not wholly essential viewing, but for fans of light Japanese comedy. If you do like this genre, I would recommend it.
