Broken Ghost

Have to agree with fredgfinklemeyer, it is worth the time watching it.

The storyline may sound simple but it is much more than that. It might start off a bit slow but it kept me watching and I did enjoy the climax. To go into detail would give away too much of the story.

I enjoyed the cinematography, music and sounds, even the art work and acting. Looking forward to seeing more from the director and all the lead actors.

I tried to like this movie but it wasn't any good the best part was the last five seconds

Other movies along this same story line with better know actors are not as good as this one. Sure it's a somewhat slow movie with a bit of a twist so stay with it till the end. Other reviews say this is a bad movie don't listen to them. Don't go in thinking this is a horror movie, it's not maybe more of a suspense drama. Not a blood and gore film. Initially, the main characters are unsympathetic, but not uninteresting. Some clever misdirection and character development push the story forward. Familiar themes manipulated in novel ways keep some shopworn tropes from feeling stale. I thought the acting was solid and the dialogue, too. Some aspects of the plot seem underfed and I think the story might have benefited from more exposition. The scripted scares were not abrupt jolts (at least for me),more subtle and cumulative. The denouement was a little disappointing, but made more sense than the noisy, heavy-handed Grand Guignol utilized in other examples of the genre. I'd recommend this movie without hesitation.

02/17/2019 I didn't expect much but got a nice slo-mo building surprise. Not a suspense/thriller, more like a layering of sensible events as they happen that turns into a decent movie. Watch for yourselves and decide. Bon Appetit
