The Divorce Party

If you've watched The Break-Up with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn you will know the overall quality of this movie. It's a dramedy that is so predictable it hurts. The movie can be described with 3 letters - meh. Acting-meh, story-meh, pacing-meh, sets-meh. But my main problem is that the movie makes you feel void. It's not inspiring or atleast heartwarming like a good dramedy should be, it just kinda sucks the joy out of the viewer.

I started watching this movie at home and started thinking nah, but as it progressed I got sucked in hook, line, and sinker. Well done!

Well i was able to predict what was going to happen. And that spoils the fun out of any movie. Also i didn't like the cast. Did not feel any sort of connection. If someone asked me if he or she should watch this movie... i would say no.

Together then breakout and find new one next. The story should make it funnier otherwise it's lame.

A lot of folks were being harsh about this film.

Okay it's not Oscar material but it was never trying to be.

You can see what a brilliant indie film it could've been with perhaps more experienced actors and maybe a bigger budget... but overall quite sweet and definitely not samey samey as some have said.

In fact you might find some of the lines/tropes that might sound cliché in other romcoms don't feel the same here.

Think of this more as a comic drama and you'd enjoy it more.
