I cannot fathom how this got a 7/10 rating by the IMDb users! I agree that the cast for this show is wonderful but they can do zero with the material they're given. The plot goes from crazy to worse and even Daniel Arenas cute face or Maites amazing looks can't save it. The story was lowbrow even when it started but I gave it a shot hoping it'd turn out better. In the end I quit after 60 episodes that I barely got through at all. It's good for laughs but nothing else. I'm very sad they didn't use the full potential of Arenas and Perroni as a leading couple and Ojeda, Buenfil, Zapata, Poza etc. The only thing I liked about this show was the music and a few odd but sweet scenes with Centavo and the blind girl + Silencioso and Blanca.

This show has too many epic scenes and the actors are well performed that I couldn't resist to stop watching this show and forget about the others shows on the cw, fox, and NBC. I hope they do American adaptation of this show because it's always surprisingly and Maitte Perroni really convinced me that she was a cat with 9 nine lives to survive the horrific nightmares from evil people in the show, especially Laura Zapata. Maitte Perroni really clawed this antagonists by showing them love and compassion even when they stepped all over her. You would think jealousy is her weakest link but she showed me that she would rather fit in where she was brought up and share her wealth with everyone including the ones that hurt her to the ground. This show has got to be one of the best out there right now and I'm upset that it ended today, Friday the 13h on February 2015.

I have struggled with this telenovela. The script is just too poor. I pity the actors. I just watched the wedding episode and was baffled as all the people in the Church pretended they couldn't see the dirty lady holding a baby and standing right beside the altar. Only Pablo could see her like she was a ghost..the other actors were made to look elsewhere. At that point I gave up on this shameless script. It's like an insult to the audience...
