PTC Motion Pictures present their debut Punjabi Movie Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad under the direction of Rimpy Prince. The movie is a Romantic-Comedy with all the elements of becoming one of the best Punjabi Rom-Coms ever made.! Starring Roshan Prince, Japji Khaira and BhanuShree Mehra in the main lead, the highlight of this movie are great music and great comedy, Roshan Prince plays the role of Jassi who is in love with Roop (BhanuShree Mehra) and wants to be successful so that he can marry her, however he takes the easy way out and starts doing immoral activities, during one such act, he ends up breaking the marriage of Geet (Japji Khaira) and in turn is forced by the village Sarpanch to marry Geet.

The movie has 9 tracks in total, ranging from dancing numbers to romance to sad songs, the music and lyrics have been provided by the known "Jaggi Singh". Most of the songs were a rage way before the movie actually hit the theaters, a superbly put item number "Lak Gadhvi Varga" provides the oomph factor in the film, so all in all the music section of the movie is great.

Roshan Prince shows great promise as an actor in this movie, he plays the role of Jassi quite nicely, and the comedy that he does in the movie is second to none. BhanuShree Mehra who debuts in Punjabi movie through Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad dazzles us with her performance and we would love to see her in more upcoming Punjabi movies. As for Japji Khaira, the former "Miss World Punjaban" dons the role of the simple Geet so well that you can't imagine Geet being played by anyone else. e The comedy done by B.N Sharma and Rana Ranbir is also quite great, the duologue delivery, the chemistry and the sheer screen presence leaves you laughing until your stomach hurts. The chemistry and the way that the actors support each other is the best thing about this movie, there is'not one dull moment in Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad, from the opening scene till the movie gets over, there is just laughter and romance.

The entire cast and crew have done a fantastic job, music is good, all stars have done justice to their roles specially the female leads and Roshan Prince, The support roles especially B.N Sharma have done a marvelous job to carry the entire length of the movie.

The music in the movie done by Jassi singh is upto the taste of the audience. Songs like Dil de varke and Putt Sardara de are fantastic. Although the songs come abruptly at times, the music overall is likable.

The length of the movie is quite good any more time and it could have become a drag. The directors job has been well done by Rimpy Prince duo.

So all in all a good family oriented Punjabi movie.

I specially logged in to write a review about this movie. To be honest, I was not expecting anything from this movie, but being a punjabi, I thought lets give it a try for time pass. I was not expecting this. The movie is good, funny and has a great feel to it. Characters are not in the usual OVERACTING mode as they do in most punjabi flicks. Acting is really really good. I was waiting for them to be cheesy but they weren't. I have only one complaint, the item song. Japji Khaira is looking so astonishing in punjabi suits throughout the movie but this song was horrendously shot. Apart from that the movie is 10/10. I mean its not the same usual comedians (BHalla, Ghuggi etc )carrying the movie using the word "SALA" too much. Go watch it with your family. Have fun.

After having hit the screens on 12th July, the first Punjabi movie from PTC Motion pictures is getting fantastic reviews from across the media and public. The shows are going house full and there is an increase in the Fan following of Roshan prince the lead actor and everything else related to the movie like the Facebook fan page.

Appreciation has been pouring in from all quarters and the public at large seem to have got a welcome break from the usual Punjabi movie stuff that they have been treated to all these years.

The state of things is such that the distributors have had to increase the no of screens across Punjab looking at the over whelming response. The films success has pushed 37 more shows across Punjab. This includes all major cities like Ludiana, Bhatinda, Amritsar and Chandigarh and others. No doubt there was extensive promotion done by PTC across north India and the expectations had built up due to that, but the response from public during this week seems to be stamping the fact that their expectations have been met.

The story is about Jassi who wants to become a Star but doesn't have money to make a film. The story seems on paper as the usual stuff with Jassi trying all sorts of shortcuts to earn money and gets into trouble frequently. There is also a Love triangle. However what sets this movie apart is the way it has been directed and produced. Credit must also go to the Casting team to have picked up a strong Support cast apart from selecting the right heroines with the hero Roshan prince.

The movie at times lacks pace but more than makes up with all the good things. Music is superb. It is a difficult choice between calling Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad a Romantic Musical or a Comedy. One can also safely put it as a Family drama with not a single double meaning or vulgar dialogue. Kudos to the scriptwriter for managing to evoke humor without using any foul language, which has become common practice in Punjabi cinema.

The first thing that needs to be said about this movie is that it has an original storyline, it is not a poorly made remake of some Bollywood or Southern movie and taking into consideration that today, most of the Punjabi movies are using the tried and tested concept, Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad provides a refreshing change.

Although it is a romantic comedy, the directors have provided elements of seriousness in the movie as well.

If you are looking for some stomach aching laughter with some romance and hint of seriousness, then we highly recommend Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad, the movie is funny, has good songs and a smooth storyline.
