Stumbled across this show that follows EMTs, the trailer looked interesting so I gave it a watch. Glad I did!
The main character Dani is a 20-something trying to find her way both career-wise and generally in life. She finds herself as a "rookie" competing with other young paramedics for a spot on the rescue squad. That said, I felt the show's appeal is to a much broader age audience. The feelings of trying to prove oneself, to deal with parental expectations as an adult, to find a fit in a new work environment, to aim for perfection and then figure out how to deal with a major mistake are all relatable no matter what the age.
While there were hints of tough issues (workplace stressors, alcoholism, marital strain, difficult family relationships) on the whole very clean, something one could actually watch without the wholly unnecessary junk that plagues far too much media out there. And it wasn't just avoiding the bad, but including positive in a way that was uplifting and encouraging. I found myself after watching the 2nd episode considering how I deal with mistakes made in my profession.

We so appreciate Great American Family's shows that they both curate and produce. This new show by GAF started out with only five episodes. These were well cast, well scripted, and well acted. The cast is sincere, believable, and interacts well with each other. The writers of the show have not compromised their Christian values, as have so many other shows, nor have they made Christianity to look only like perfect people. This show depicts real people with real struggles - with interactions between Christians and non-Christians, with parents and their offspring, with employees competing with each other for the same employment positions, and with Christians struggling to find their purpose and place in God's Kingdom. The people of the United States need to see more shows like this one to turn around the moral decline that we are in. I hope that Great American Family will renew this show for the second season with more episodes, as well as continue it for many more seasons. We feel that the GAF network is the best of any offered in our area. Please don't fail us, and continue great shows like this one.
Everyone I've shared this show with has loved it. You fall in love with the characters and the family unit they have together. The teamwork that put this together was better than I've ever witnessed in all my years in production. The long hours were worth it. Every frame was carefully considered, the locations were incredible and even better with the art department's creativity. I felt the love and care every day on set. I'm so very happy to have been a part of this production. Everyone on this team gave it their all. The openness of the businesses and leaders of this area made this season an absolute joy.
My family has enjoyed watching Season 1 and have begun Season 2. The story line is changing but I won't spoil anything. It's been interesting to see the characters developing with their interactions. There's some depth to how they respond even though they enjoy fun and an occasional prank!
It is wonderful for PureFlix and others to put this type of entertainment on screen. It is also a tribute to the actual EMTs and their contributions to so many emergency situations, even in their own families.
Let's watch these films and encourage others to so they can receive the support for their work and keep going.

It is rare that a show is both engaging and family friendly. So many Christian-focused shows are either abysmally produced or so cheesy that you are watching with constant cringe. This does a disservice to Christians everywhere that just want a show that is well produced that reflects their values. Now that we have shows like County Rescue and the Chosen, Christians have something to watch without compromise. The County Rescue characters are relatable, likable, and sincere. I also relate to Dani and her faith. Not a fan of her passive aggressive mother (We have all known people like that) I hope they keep producing it. Now that they have released season 2, my wife and I are enjoying starting over from the beginning and having a show to watch before or after the kids go to bed. Well done and God Bless the producers, cast, and crew of this show.
