I honestly went into the show thinking it'd be just okay but i left with an investment in the each of the characters' lives. To start of the drama portions are just so beautifully done and well-acted, i've seen calle act before but never like this. He's truly a natural and im mesmerized by him every time he's on screen, especially when he is with kingsford as they have so much chemistry (seriously i did not expect a romance going in but now im hooked and need to see where their story goes). The hidden camera bits were more or less okay, some of them i felt were unnecessary and unfunny which is very unfortunate. I think it would be best to limit each episode to 1 hidden camera bit as the episodes are so short (my favorite ones were bits that related to the main story or with anna). As for anna, i thought she was so funny as the awkward assistant to the powerful boss she becomes in season 2. I do wish we got to know her a little bit outside of calle and knew her motivations more. I wish we knew everyone a little bit more but i guess thats the price of having short episodes and taking up so much time with hidden camera. I feel like season 1 was better than season 2 and had a clearer storyline. The show is strongest to me when it is focused on the drama and how it unfolds between marcel, calle, and anna. That might be an unpopular opinion as many do love the hidden camera portions (as well as i occasionally). Overall, the show is such a treat and i hope there is a new season.
