I tried, I really tried to get through this movie. I mean you have to love when Christian mythology meets Rambo it's gotta be a good flick right? Lol NAHHH....it was horrific, you could tell the actors tried to do what they could but come on. The writing is abysmal, the direction basically non-existent how did they even stand a chance. If this is what's left of entertainment then I welcome their mythical "end of days".
Just remember, anyone with any kind of camera can make a "movie" nowadays.
This is no different. Terrible acting, dumbest script ever, bad CGI that your grandma and After Effects can do and stock shots of disasters do not make a good movie.
The worst thing about these types of no-budget movies is they think having their bad "actors" have a lot of dialog somehow improves the movie. I realize they're trying to fill in 90 minutes so a lot has to be meaningless exposition but my God, if you invest in one thing in these bad no budget movies, invest in a writer. It's a given your "actors" will be awful, at least give them some somewhat interesting dialog to read.
Terrible and unwatchable. Note, one person did give this a ten in here. That person has one "review" to their credit. This one. Guess what movie that person worked on. I wish IMDB would be a kibosh on people giving tens to their own "movies" in here.
Avoid.

So, global End of The World: earthquakes, storms, even locusts.
The basic setup in the movie itself is: 12 hours until a volcano will errupt so big in Barzil, it'll blow up the world. What causes this? Mushrooms. Mushrooms, that will be finished of with an oxygen-destroyer.
On the technical side the movie is not bad, kinda what you can expect from the budget (point for using some cheap drone to make some shots), and acting is actualy good. But the mushrooms stomp all. Mushrooms that cause earthquakes. It's not even funny, because the movie takes itself seriously.
Oh, and the 4 horsemen? Entirely clickbait. Someone halllucinates them, once, because of mushrooms.

When I stumbled upon this 2022 movie titled "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse", I have to admit that I was immediately drawn to the movie's cover/poster. It looked really good. But at the same time I had that voice at the back of my head going 'low budget disaster movie'. But as this movie from writers Geoff Meed, Lauren Pritchard and Joe Roche, being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to watch it.
And when I saw the two dreaded words, The Asylum, pop up on the screen, then expectations went from some to none. Yeah, The Asylum isn't really known for the top notch movies, though they do have some fair enough movies among their catalogue.
Truth be told, then "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" embodied everything that summarizes The Asylum; amazingly dubious and stupid storyline, natural disasters that seem to single in on a small group of people, questionable CGI effects, rigid acting, overly predictable storyline. So yeah, at least you know what you are getting here. But "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" is a bad movie, a really, really bad movie.
The storyline in "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" was just laughably bad. And it simply amazes me that three writers could collectively put together such a heap of rubbish, and presumably not even one went 'wait a minute, this is just out of control'. In fact, I would actually go as far as saying that "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" is a top contender for being one of the worst movies from The Asylum.
I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, aside from Dominique Swain. And truth be told, then it is just very difficult to take her serious in the role of a military officer. And her wooden performance in "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" just didn't help win me over.
Now, "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" is a natural disaster movie of sorts, so of course having proper special effects and CGI is crucial. But the special effects in "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" were a disaster in themselves, even for a movie from The Asylum then this was bad.
My rating of "4 Horsemen: Apocalypse" lands on a one out of ten stars.

Geoff please return to acting!
This is an example of the worst CG.
The plot left a lot to be desired.
Although the first review, which I have determined was written by someone associated with this production, got me to watch. This is a fair warning, don't watch this unless you want to see what not to do, in making a movie.
All of the actors had potential but no direction.
