Story of Tanuja is based on a real incident that took place at Mallenahalli of Shikaripura taluk in Shivamogga. It explains how Tanuja, the daughter of a farmer, manages to write the NEET exam to realise her dream of becoming a doctordoctor.movie begins with a police vehicle equipped with a public address system advising residents to remain indoors to protect themselves from coronavirus and emphasising on the need to maintain social distance. Pradeep Eshwar (Rajesh Nataranga), who runs a coaching centre, receives a phone call stating that Tanuja's (Saptha Pavoor) application has been rejected on technical grounds. It is the second time that Tanjua has tried her luck to realise her childhood dream of becoming a doctor.

Very rarely movies like this are made. The struggle of the helpless, support of those who can do so in pandemic Corona situation. Simple story narrated in interesting way, succeeds in having gripping attention from start to end. Also shows how relevant & important roles social media is playing in spreading awareness within moments and subsequently leading to shaping opinions & resulting in actual work being executed. Kudos to #VishweshwarBhat for the initiation and also by the CM , Health minister of Karnataka, concerned government officials in taking effort which helped shape the future of brilliant student.
