I was one of those persons who waited for Bismillah movie release. And now, I am so so elated and got great contentment after watching the movie Bismillah... I was completely involved while watching this movie and enjoyed each and every bit in this movie. The visuals, songs and acting are exceptionally good. Bismillah means to tell a story through music beautifully. And Ridhi Sen showed it in such a way that I couldn't take my eyes off his acting . Subhashree and Kaushik sir performed very well. 💐👏👏👏 THANK YOU VERY MUCH to the director Indraadip Dasgupta and whole crew for this great attempt and showing a beautiful story with music. Younger generations need these kind of movies. Kudos to all the cast and crew. More love and support to you❤❤❤
A stellar ensemble with an outstanding performance by Ridhi Sen!
And what a powerful performance yet again. This is an actor who can invoke a range of emotions in his audience. His acting talent and script sense begs no introduction. But the magic he brings to characters such as the one he potrays in #Bismillah deserves kudos.
There is some length in the narration, but it is a story that is easy on the eyes and heart. It's the story of a young musicians journey.
Bengali cinema is doing wonders today by giving wings to ordinary, relatable narratives filled with exemplary performances. And it is doing a commendable job by putting together amazing ensemble to breathe life into these narratives. Reminiscent of the 80's and 90's, perhaps before that too. Routine commercial success driven cinema did take over this industry for a while so it is heartening to see good stories and lovely actors doing good work again.
Here's wishing great success and love to this lovable work of cinema named #Bismillah.

Beautiful movie! Cast is perfect, acting is perfect, Camera/cinematography is perfect, location is perfect, songs are perfect, storyline and transition are perfect, layers of story was done perfectly. I could honestly watch it for another few hours, like a good book you don't want to end. Rishi Sen, Subhashree Ganguly wow wow wow. The screen presence for every single cast member is quite impeccable. Thank you entire cast, and everyone who worked behind it. So many aspects of our tradition and culture portrayed. Heart warmingly fuzzy and sweet. I have about zero complains about this movie. Such a perfect movie.
ART is nothing but a depiction of reality. Very few movies make the viewers think and motivate. Bismillah is a brave attempt by Director Indraadip Dasgupta speaks about our culture and tradition through music. Few sequences and characters are scripted so well that they are timeless. Mythological references are the heart of the film disguised in dialogues, Ridhi Sen, Subhashree Ganguly, Kaushik Ganguly's character portrayal and tops in perfos, an excellent movie made for all generations . . .
I started watching this with least expectations as I was not so blown away by the trailer. I thought this will be another movie in the drama genre. The first 10 minutes I felt I was right the movie will not lead anywhere and remain as another regular flick but apparently I was wrong. The story is a slow burner with the emotions and it detailing about human connection, especially how today's generation treats our tradition and culture. It was so relatable that after a point I was fixed to the screen. I would not give away much but if you you really want to have some good time and can watch a movie keeping your phone aside and feel nostalgic, then this is the one for you. 💗
