Isolation Stories

Fantastic, moving, sometimes funny storylines. The effort and technology that went into the creation of this series was amazing. A lot of superlatives in this review but the series itself was superlative.

To be honest, the stories could have been a pile of drab but they were really good storylines.

What impressed me is the production of these short stories. Park aside the storylines and the actors but focus on the effort behind the scenes to make this happen.

Overnight, these actors (and their families) had to get involved in the whole production and most likely got an insight into the effort that producers, directors and cameramen do on a regular basis. And what a fantastic job they did. Supported by remote workers, these short stories were a true masterpiece of our industry and how they brought it all together resulted in some great tv.

Props to the actors and their families for also letting us into their private world. Their homes where like us all, they go home after a days work to relax, became a set all in the name of entertainment.

Watch these stories, then watch the "behind the scenes", which is also fantastic television.

Props to everyone involved in ensuring that the show goes on in this difficult and unprecedented time.

So enjoyed these such an honest but light summing up of these times -awards coming I'm sure. "Please sir can we have some more ?"

ITV haven't really come up with much to entertain us over these lockdown times, but this constitutes an attempt.

Personally I found them more depressing than entertaining. Perhaps they should have waited until lockdown was over.
